ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application. These will include, where required, existing expressed conditions and embedded restrictions contained within existing authorisations and enactments as specified by the Secretary of State, in accordance with Schedule 8(6) of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. CCTV shall be installed and maintained on the licensed premises, covering the interior of the premises and beer garden. Recordings shall continue until a minimum of 30 minutes beyond closing time and be retained for a minimum of 28 days.
2. A proof of age scheme shall be operated on the licensed premises to assist with the prevention of underage sales.
3. There shall be no irresponsible drinks promotions on the licensed premises.
4. The premises management shall participate in a local Pubwatch scheme (or similar) where this is available in the locality of the licensed premises.
5. There shall be no striptease or similar entertainment on the licensed premises.
6. Staff shall at closing time advise customers to depart from the premises quietly.
7. Public liability insurance shall be in place for the licensed premises.
8. Escape routes and exits shall be clearly identified, illuminated and kept free from obstruction.
9. Appropriate lighting shall be installed to external areas of the licensed premises during the hours of darkness. (Note: It may be prudent for the licence holder to liaise with the local Environmental Health Officer to ensure that any lighting does not cause public nuisance).
10. All doors and windows shall be kept closed (save for access or egress) during any amplified music activities.
11. Children under the age of 16 shall not be permitted on the licensed premises after 20:00hrs.
12. Any adult entertainment on the licensed premises shall not commence prior to 21:00hrs.
13. Any glasses or bottles used for alcoholic drinks shall be retained or disposed of on the licensed premises.
14. Use of the beer garden for consumption of alcohol shall cease at 23:30hrs on all occasions.
15. The volume control of any amplification equipment being used at the licensed premises shall be under the direct control of the designated premises supervisor (DPS), or another responsible individual nominated by the DPS, on all occasions. At the direct request of an authorised officer of the Local Authority or Suffolk Constabulary the volume shall be turned down.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. The extension of hours and activities proposed by the variation application shall be revised to those as shown on the premises licence and summary.
