Note: All activities may extend for one hour for Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and Friday to Monday of all bank holiday weekends. For New Years Eve all activities may extend through to authorised hours on 01 January.
ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
3. Where a premises licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, the licence must include a condition that each such individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
4. The admission of children to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with the film classification awarded by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), or any successor person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application. These will include, where required, existing expressed conditions and embedded restrictions contained within existing authorisations and enactments as specified by the Secretary of State, in accordance with Schedule 8(6) of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Staff shall receive suitable training in accordance with the licence holders policies and procedures.
2. The designated premises supervisor (DPS) shall participate in a local Pubwatch scheme (or similar) where such a scheme operates within the locality of the licensed premises.
3. Any outside recorded music shall cease no later than 21:30hrs on all occasions.
4. Recorded music volume will be reduced to background level during wind-down period.
5. All windows and doors shall be kept closed (save for access and egress) after 23:00hrs during any performance of amplified music.
6. A notice shall be displayed prominently on the licensed premises requesting that customers leave the area quietly.
7. A proof of age scheme / request for photographic identity documents shall be operated to assist in prevention of underage sales.
8. Signage shall be displayed and maintained on the licensed premises giving contact details of the individual to whom any complaints should be made.
9. The volume control of any amplification equipment being used at the licensed premises shall be under the direct control of the designated premises supervisor (DPS), or another responsible individual nominated by the DPS, on all occasions. At the direct request of an authorised officer of the Local Authority or Suffolk Constabulary the volume shall be turned down.
10. Use of the beer garden for the consumption of alcohol shall cease at 23:30hrs on all occasions.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
