ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS:
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE:
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
1. An adequate CCTV system shall be installed and maintained on the licensed premises, and recordings shall be retained for a minimum period of 31 days.
2. A ‘Challenge 21’ or similar proof of age scheme shall be operated on the licensed premises in order to assist with the prevention of underage sales. Acceptable forms of proof of identity shall include Portman Card, Citizen Card or 10-year passport.
3. The premises licence holder shall ensure that all relevant members of staff shall undertake training on licensing requirements (including ‘Challenge 21’ scheme) and the social impacts associated with the sale of alcohol. The premises licence holder shall further ensure that refresher training for staff is undertaken on a regular basis.
4. There shall be no sales of alcohol for consumption ON the licensed premises.
5. The premises management shall comply with all reasonable requirements of the Local Authority in respect of the collection and disposal of litter and waste.
6. The premises management shall be responsive to any concerns raised by local persons or responsible authorities in relation to the promotion of the licensing objectives at the licensed premises, and shall take any reasonable or necessary steps to alleviate such concerns.
7. The premises management shall operate a refusals book.
8. Signage shall be prominently displayed and maintained on the licensed premises confirming the legal minimum age for the purchase of alcohol.
