ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS:
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. The admission of children to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with the film classification awarded by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), or any successor person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.
2. Where one or more individuals are being used at the licensed premises to carry out a security activity, each such individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority (unless where the individual is exempt from obtaining an SIA registration under the Private Security Industry Act 2001).
3. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
4. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE:
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application. These will include, where required, existing expressed conditions and embedded restrictions contained within previous authorisations and enactments as specified by the Secretary of State, in accordance with Schedule 8(6) of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. The appended Public Entertainments Licence conditions, terms and restrictions (including any limitations on permitted capacity) shall continue to apply to the Premises Licence unless where these conditions are overridden by the authorisations of the Premises Licence (for example concerning hours authorised for licensable activities), or by the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 or any other statutory modifications (for example The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).
2. The premises licence holders shall ensure that the Police are advised in advance of any large event or other planned activity that could be a potential source of concern in relation to the prevention of crime and disorder, or any other licensing objective.
3. The premises licence holders shall ensure that all hirers of the village hall facilities shall be clearly advised of all rules of hiring prior to commencement of the hiring. This should include details of the premises licence where the hiring will involve licensed activities.
4. The premises licence holders shall ensure that all exits and emergency escapes at the licensed premises are kept clear and unobstructed.
5. Any hiring agreement/conditions shall clearly advise hirers of the need to minimise any potential for public nuisance (for example keeping noise to an acceptable level late at night and when leaving the licensed premises), and of the need to ensure that children are adequately supervised by a responsible adult whilst on the licensed premises.
6. Children under the age of 12 years shall not be permitted in bar areas of the licensed premises whilst the premises are open for activities that include the supply of alcohol.
7. The premises licence holders shall ensure that children are not permitted to attend any event at the licensed premises that may be unsuitable for the presence of children, or any event that could raise concerns in respect of protecting children from physical, moral or psychological harm.
8. The premises licence holder shall ensure that any potentially harmful or hazardous substances kept on the licensed premises, including alcohol, are adequately secured so that they are not accessible by children.
9. The premises licence holders shall ensure that doors and windows shall be kept closed (save for access or egress) during any potentially noisy activities.
10. Regulated entertainment activities in outdoor areas of the licensed premises are not permitted to continue beyond 21:00hrs on any occasion.
