ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
1. The licence holder shall ensure that they liaise with other licensees in the locality in order to promote the licensing objectives.
2. The licence holder shall ensure that all escape routes and exits are kept clear at all times and are clearly signposted.
3. Signage shall be prominently displayed and maintained on the licensed premises requesting that:
(a) customers leave the premises quietly;
(b) that it is the policy of the licensed premises to be a ‘good neighbour’.
4. Any fire fighting equipment on the premises shall be adequately maintained. (Note: It may be prudent for the licensee to liaise directly with the Fire Officer concerning and fire precaution issues).
5. The licence-holder shall operate a photographic identity proof of age scheme in order to assist with the prevention of underage sales.
6. The volume control of any recorded music or amplification equipment shall be under the direct control of the designated premises supervisor (DPS), or another responsible individual nominated by the DPS, with provision made for the sound to be turned down at the direct request of an authorised officer of the Local Authority or Police.
7. Use of the beer garden for the consumption of alcohol shall cease no later than 23:30hrs.
8. All amplified music (with the exception of quiet background music) shall cease no later than 22:30hrs on all occasions.
9. During any performance of live or amplified music, all doors and windows shall be kept closed (save for access or egress). (Note: The licence holder may wish to consider the installation of an appropriate air conditioning system should he deem this necessary).
10. There shall be no admission, or re-admission, to customers after 23:30hrs on any occasion.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
None.
