ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
1. There shall be no amplified music, drums, trumpets or similar loud wind instruments played on the licensed premises, and any music being played on the licensed premises shall not be audible at 3 metres from the premises in any direction.
2. Consumption of alcohol at the licensed premises shall be restricted to the areas identified in the Plan attached as Annex 4.
3. The premises licence holder shall operate a photo identity proof of age scheme and shall ensure that staff selling or supplying alcohol shall ask for photo identity proof of age where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be under 18 years of age.
4. The premises licence holder shall not promote any irresponsible drinks promotions at the licensed premises.
5. The premises licence holder, or Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS), shall participate in any local Pubwatch and/or Nightsafe Scheme (or similar) where such a scheme(s) is available in the locality of the licensed premises.
6. The premises licence holder shall ensure that escape routes and exits are adequately maintained and remain unobstructed.
7. The premises licence holder shall ensure that staff employed at the premises shall be advised to promptly call the Fire Service in the event of any outbreak of fire on the licensed premises, however slight. Any details of such occurrences shall be recorded in a fire log-book.
8. The premises licence holder shall ensure that when any disabled persons are on the premises adequate arrangements exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
9. The premises licence holder shall ensure that an adequate supply of first aid equipment and materials are kept on the licensed premises.
10. The premises licence holder shall ensure that windows and doors are kept closed (safe for access or egress) in order to minimise the potential for any public nuisance.
11. The premises licence holder or DPS shall ensure that during the last hour of opening any music being played is discernibly quieter.
12. The premises licence holder or DPS shall ensure that any request made by an authorised officer of the Local Authority or Police in relation to reducing noise levels is complied with.
13. No adult entertainment activities, that are unsuitable for the presence of children, shall take place on the licensed premises.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. Any off-sales of alcohol made from the licensed premises shall be in sealed bottles or containers.
2. Signage shall be prominently displayed and maintained on the licensed premises requesting that patrons leave the premises quietly and with consideration to the rights of local residents and neighbouring properties.
