ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Where one or more individuals are being used at the licensed premises to carry out a security activity, each such individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority (unless there is any exemption afforded to the relevant individual(s) by the Private Security Industry Authority Act 2001 (as amended)).
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
1. The premises licence holder shall ensure that a suitable valid policy of public liability insurance is maintained for the event.
2. Adequate provision of trained first aid cover shall be provided for the duration of the event. The levels and numbers of first aiders shall be set as risk assessed by the event organiser in consultation with the first aid provider.
3. Public notices shall be prominently displayed and maintained for the duration of the event so as to safeguard attendees to the event/neighbours during the road closure whilst maintaining the access route for emergency vehicles.
4. Emergency services shall be provided with a contact telephone number for the event co-ordinator which shall be available for the duration of the event.
5. The premises licence holder shall advise all stallholders to provide valid public liability insurance.
6. Officers of the Long Melford Street Fair Committee shall be easily identified by use of hi-visibility/reflective vests, and shall maintain radio contact with the event control which is to be located immediately outside of the Parish Council offices in Hall Street.
7. The premises licence holder shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that any children’s entertainers are suitably and sufficiently vetted/checked so that they do not pose any risk to the protection of children from harm licensing objective.
8. All refuse, litter and other items connected with the event shall be cleared by 9am on the day following.
