ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
1. The building shall be fitted with an intruder alarm and a CCTV system shall be installed and adequately maintained with recordings retained for a minimum of two weeks.
2. Public vehicular access to the licensed premises, outside of licensed operating hours, shall be restricted by means of locked gates approximately ½ kilometre from the licensed premises.
3. The premises licence holder shall operate a ‘Challenge 21’ type proof of age scheme, including that bona fide photographic identity documents are requested as proof of age where the individual appears to be under 21 years of age.
4. The premises licence holder shall ensure that all relevant members of staff receive adequate training to be able to deal with shop-lifting and other crime and disorder issues, and implement the ‘Challenge 21’ type policy adopted by the premises licence holder.
5. The premises licence holder shall ensure that signage is displayed and maintained on the licensed premises alerting staff and customers to any crime and disorder issues.
6. External lighting shall be provided to the licensed premises. (Note: It may be prudent for the premises licence holder to liaise directly with the local Environmental Health Officer to ensure that any lighting does not cause a statutory nuisance).
7. All facilities provided at the licensed premises shall be maintained in a safe and operational condition, and adequate facilities for disabled customers shall also be provided.
8. The licensed premises shall be fitted with a fire alarm, and staff trained in first aid shall be available whilst the premises is open to the public.
9. The premises licence holder shall ensure that the access road/drive to the licensed premises is kept in a well maintained condition.
10. The premises licence holder shall, upon completion of the building, promptly provide to the Licensing Authority and all Responsible Authorities an accurate 1:100 scale plan (unless alternative scale agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority) of the completed premises, with such plan to contain all information as required by Licensing Act 2003 regulations.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
