Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1  -  MANDATORY CONDITIONS:

  The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:

   

  1.              Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:

   

  (a)               At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the

                premises licence, or

   

  (b)              At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended

   

  2.              Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  ANNEX 2  -  CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE:

  The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:

   

  1.              The premises licence holder shall ensure that staff receive regular training and updates on regulations, company policy, and restrictions on the sale of alcohol or any other age-restricted products sold on the licensed premises.

   

  2.              The premises licence holder shall liaise with the local Police in order to promote the prevention of crime and disorder licensing objective and to help minimise incidents of alcohol related crime and disorder.

   

  3.              The premises licence holder shall ensure that adequate health and safety, and first aid, training and procedures are in place at the licensed premises.

   

  4.              The premises licence holder shall ensure that all relevant members of staff are adequately trained to ensure that licensing offences, for example the sale of alcohol to a person who is drunk, are not committed.

   

  5.              The premises licence holder shall ensure that an adequate proof of age identity scheme is in place (for example Challenge 21) to ensure that age-restricted items are not sold to persons who are underage.

   

  6.              The premises licence holder shall prominently display and maintain appropriate signage on the licensed premises in order to promote the protection of children from harm licensing objective, including alerting patrons to age restrictions in relation to alcohol and any other products.
