ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS:
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1.1 Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
1.2 Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE:
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
2.1 There shall be no amplified music activities in outdoor areas of the licensed premises.
2.2 ‘Take-away’ of hot food or hot drink between the hours of 23:00hrs and closure of the premises shall not be permitted.
2.3 There shall be no off-sales of alcohol made available for consumption beyond the boundary of the licensed premises.
2.4 There shall be no ‘adult only’ type entertainments permitted on the licensed premises or any other performance, service, action or similar activity that could give rise to concerns over the protection of children from harm licensing objective.
2.5 The licence holder shall ensure that hirers are advised that any children on the premises must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult and adequately supervised at all times.
2.6 An adequate CCTV system shall be installed and maintained on the licensed premises, with the ability to retain recordings via hard disk or similar means. Such recordings should be made available upon the reasonable request of the Police or other responsible authority.
2.7 No money shall be stored at the licensed premises overnight and all doors shall be monitored by CCTV and securely lockable.
2.8 Fire and emergency exits from the licensed premises shall be disabled access and kept operational and unobstructed at all times. All exits shall be installed with an adequate emergency lighting system to aid save access or egress.
2.9 Emergency vehicle access routes to the licensed premises shall be kept clear and unobstructed.
2.10 All staff at the licensed premises shall be adequately briefed on emergency procedures.
2.11 All stairs/steps at the licensed premises shall be clearly marked and highlighted.
2.12 Access and parking for guests at the licensed premises shall be located away from any potential hazards (for example water, obstructions or trip hazards). The public shall be excluded from any areas of the licensed premises containing potential hazards.
2.13 The licence holder or another responsible person nominated by the licence holder shall be available on site during any licensable activities to ensure promotion of the licensing objectives.
2.14 Suitable signage shall be prominently displayed and maintained at the licensed premises requiring that patrons drive slowly and quietly when leaving. Temporary signage advising of any traffic hazards shall be provided where appropriate.
2.15 Should crèche or similar childcare facilities be made available at the licensed premises then the licence holder shall ensure that child supervision is provided by a suitably qualified and checked child minder(s). It is strongly recommended that enhanced criminal records bureau (CRB) disclosures be sought from childcare providers before they are employed at the licensed premises.
