Note: Activities and opening authorised to extend by 30 minutes beyond standard timings on Friday to Monday of all bank holiday weekends, Thursday before Easter weekend, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Activities may extend from end of authorised hours 31 December until commencement of authorised hours 01 January. Supply of alcohol is for consumption ON premises only (no off-sales) after 23:00hrs Monday to Saturday and after 22:30hrs Sunday.
ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
3. Where one or more individuals are being used at the licensed premises to carry out a security activity, each such individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application. These will include, where required, existing expressed conditions and embedded restrictions contained within existing authorisations and enactments as specified by the Secretary of State, in accordance with Schedule 8(6) of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. No person under the age of 14 shall be in the bar of the licensed premises during the permitted hours, unless one of the following applies:
a. He is the child of the holder of the premises licence
b. He resides in the premises, but is not employed there
c. He is in the bar solely for the purpose of passing to or from some part of the premises which is not a bar and to or from which there is no other convenient means of access or egress
d. The bar is in railway refreshment rooms or other premises constructed, fitted and intended to be used bona fide for any purpose to which the holding of a premises licence is ancillary
2. CCTV shall be installed and maintained covering internal and external areas of the licensed premises. The system shall be operational 24 hours a day every day, and recordings shall be retained for a minimum of 28 days.
3. SIA registered door supervisors shall be employed at the licensed premises from 20:30hrs until closing time on all Fridays and Saturdays and any occasion when non-standard timings are in operation.
4. There shall be no supplies of alcohol for consumption off the premises after 23:00hrs Monday to Saturday and after 22:30hrs on Sunday.
5. The volume control of any amplification equipment being used at the licensed premises shall be under the direct control of the designated premises supervisor (DPS), or another responsible individual nominated by the DPS, on all occasions. At the direct request of an authorised officer of the Local Authority or Suffolk Constabulary the volume shall be turned down.
6. External and security lighting shall be installed on the licensed premises. (Note: It may be prudent for the licence-holder to liaise with the local Environmental Health Officer to ensure that any lighting used minimises the risk of public nuisance).
7. Escape routes and exits shall be clearly identified and kept free from obstruction.
8. The premises management shall participate in any local Pubwatch scheme (or similar) where this is available in the locality of the licensed premises.
9. There shall be no persons under 18 permitted on the licensed premises after 19:00hrs.
10. All external windows and doors shall be kept closed (save for access and egress) during any performance of amplified music, with the exception of any background or incidental music.
11. Cold snacks and sandwiches shall be available on the licensed premises until at least 22:00hrs whilst the premises is open for activities that include the supply of alcohol.
12. The premises management shall ensure that customer departure is supervised at closing time.
13. Use of external areas for the consumption of alcohol shall be limited to 23:30hrs on all occasions.
14. The maximum number of persons permitted on the premises at any one time shall not exceed 180 (one hundred and eighty) persons.
