ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1.1 Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
1.2 Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
2.1 The licence holder shall have comprehensive and appropriate written policies in place to cover all aspects of its trading operations, including those which pertain to the sale of alcoholic products.
2.2 The licence holder shall operate a ‘Challenge 21’ policy and all cashier staff shall be trained in respect of this policy, and acceptable forms of identification (for example passport, photo driving licence or PASS approved proof of age cards).
2.3 Appropriate signage shall be displayed and maintained at the licensed premises in relation to the prevention of underage sales and a till prompt system shall be in operation to require the cashier to physically confirm that the purchaser is over 18 years of age whenever an age restricted product is scanned.
2.4 The licence holder shall implement, maintain and regularly monitor a refusals log in relation to age restricted sales.
2.5 An adequate CCTV system shall be installed and maintained on the premises, enabling surveillance of entrance/exit points and till areas. Recordings from the system shall be maintained for a minimum period of 19 days and shall be made available to the Police upon reasonable request.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
