ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions in Annex 1 are mandatory under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003:
1. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(a) At any time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) At any time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended
2. Every sale or supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
3. (a) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
The following conditions in Annex 2 are conditions consistent with the operating schedule submitted by the applicant within the application:
1. CCTV shall be installed providing good image quality and covering all internal areas of the licensed premises to which the public have access, together with all entrances and exits. Images shall be retained for a minimum period of 28 days. It should be noted that any retention, use or disclosure of personal information captured on CCTV must be carried out in line with data protection principles.
2. The premises licence holder shall ensure that a member of staff shall be available to download CCTV footage/images and provide copies to the Police upon demand and in any event within 24 hours of any such request.
3. Suitable signage shall be displayed and maintained on the licensed premises advising customers that CCTV is in operation.
4. All staff shall be trained in the prevention of sales of alcohol to underage or drunken persons and a record of such training shall be retained at the premises and made available to the Police on demand.
5. A refusals book shall be operated and maintained on the licensed premises to record all instances of refused sales of alcohol and which shall be made available to the Police on demand.
6. High value alcoholic drinks shall be stored/displayed behind the counter in order to promote the prevention of crime and disorder.
7. An incident book shall be operated and maintained on the licensed premises to record all instances of crime and disorder related incidents and which shall be made available to the Police on demand.
8. The premises licence holder shall adopt a ‘Challenge 25’ proof of age scheme. The premises licence holder shall operate a requirement for the production of a passport, UK photocard driving licence or PASS accredited photocard, where the individual requesting the supply of alcohol appears to be under the age of 25.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1 Sales of alcohol shall not to include any super strength lagers, beers or ciders where the strength exceeds 6.5% ABV (alcohol by volume), for the avoidance of doubt this shall not exclude the sale of ‘specialist’ branded alcoholic beverages.
2 (a) The authorised timings for the supply of alcohol (for consumption off the premises) shall be:
Monday to Saturday 08:00hrs until 20:00hrs
Sunday 08:00hrs until 16:00hrs
New Year’s Eve 08:00hrs until 21:00hrs
(b) The authorised opening times shall be:
Monday to Saturday 06:00hrs until 23:00hrs
Sunday 07:00hrs until 20:00hrs
New Year’s Eve 06:00hrs until 23:00hrs
