Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
General condition:
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence-
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) at time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence
or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a
person who holds a personal licence.
General condition:
In force from 1 October 2010
(1) The Premises Licence Holder or Club Premises Certificate Holder shall ensure that
an age policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be
under 18 years of age (or such older age as specified in the policy) produce on request,
before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a
holographic mark.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
General
A suitable and sufficient CCTV system with recording facilities will be in place at site and will
operate at all times the premise is open for licensable activities. Images can be made
available upon reasonable request by the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible
authority.
Staff will be trained with regard to their responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol and regular
refresher training will also be undertaken. Training records can be made available for
inspection upon reasonable request by the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible
authority.
A refusals book will be operated and maintained and will be produced to a relevant officer of
the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority upon request.
A Challenge 25 policy will be operated at the premise, acceptable forms of identification are
a passport, photo card driving licence and PASS accredited identification card.
Spirits will be located behind the counter.
The prevention of crime and disorder.

Condition Agreed with Police:
In order to promote the prevention of crime and disorder and prevention of public nuisance
the premises licence holder shall not sell super strength beet, larger or cider with an alcohol
content of 6.5% ABV (alcohol by volume) or greater. This restriction shall not apply in
respect of specialist branded, premium priced, products – for example craft ales, local or
micro brewery specialist products, boxed gifts or national celebratory/commemorative beer,
larger or cider with an alcohol content of 6.5% ABV or greater.
