Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
General condition:
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence-
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the
premises licence, or
(b) at time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence
or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a
person who holds a personal licence.
General condition:
In force from 1 October 2010
(1) The Premises Licence Holder or Club Premises Certificate Holder shall ensure that
an age policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be
under 18 years of age (or such older age as specified in the policy) produce on request,
before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a
holographic mark.
Annex 2- Conditions consistent with the Operating schedule
The prevention of crime and disorder
CCTV shall be installed and maintained, including recording facilities. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises, all areas where the sale/supply of alcohol occurs. It should be noted that nay retention, use of disclosure of personal information caught on CCTV must be carried out in line with data protection principles.
The prevention of public nuisance
Notices shall be prominently displayed and maintained on he licensed premises advising customers of the prohibition of alcohol sales to under 18s, and confirmation that staff shall challenge customers to produce photographic identity proof of age where they appear to be under the age of 18 (or older if the premises licence holder’s policy so requires)
