Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
The premises licence holder shall ensure that no illegal drugs or alcohol are permitted on the
premises and any patrons who are abusive or showing adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
shall not be served.
The premises licence holder shall ensure all staff are suitably and sufficiently trained to deal
with any disturbances.
All monies taken shall be kept in a secure till and removed at regular intervals.
The premises licence holder shall ensure the premises are well maintained and adequately
illuminated whilst being used for licensable activities.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that all spillages are dealt with immediately to
maintain a safe environment.
The premises licence holder shall ensure all entrances and exits are maintained so as
accessible to all patrons.
The premises licence holder shall ensure litter bins are provided.
The premises licence holder shall ensure all patrons wait in the designated customer area
whilst orders are being prepared.
Conditions agreed with the Police
CCTV shall be installed and maintained on the licensed premises covering all public areas of
the premises during licensable activities. The CCTV equipment shall be of such type,
specification and coverage as commensurate with the scale, location and nature of the
licensed business. Recordings shall be retained for a minimum period of 28 days and shall
be made available to the Police upon request. It should be noted that any retention, use or
disclosure of personal information caught on CCTV must be carried out in line with data
protection principles which shall override any conflicting element of this condition.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
1. The applicant is to install at least two signs within the premises near the entry and
exit points asking patrons to leave quietly and respect local residents.
2. The applicant is to place an identifying mark or wording on all packaging used in
the provision of late night refreshment to indicate the name and address of the
applicant.
3. The applicant is to clear all litter from the frontage of the premises at least once a
night (if open for business on that night) in the last half an hour before closing.
4. The applicant is to arrange for its staff to engage in a litter patrol on a Friday and
Saturday night. The litter patrol is to clear all litter from the front of the premises to
a width of the premises and width of the premises either side of the applicant's
premises and out as far as the roadway.
5. The applicant is to keep a written record of litter patrols completed in the form of a
chart recording the time, date and the person who completed the litter patrol.
The applicant is required to produce the record of litter patrols to the Licensing
Authority or the Police on demand.
