Annex 1- Mandatory Conditions
(1) The admission of children to the exhibition of any film is to be restricted in accordance with this section.
(2) Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.
(3) Where:
(a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
(b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
(4) In this section:
"children" means persons aged under 18; and
"film classification body" means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c. 39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
Annex 2 - Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
Will add appropriate clauses to the Hire Agreement as indicated to prevent crime and disorder. Will ensure that the hall complies with current fire and safety requirements.
Will limit the hours of potential disturbance in outside arias as detailed.
Will ensure that film showings are age appropriate
The prevention of crime and disorder
Will ensure the provision of adequate lighting outside the premise.
Will be responsible for the disposal of waste. Will ensure that the hire conditions include that the hirer is responsible individual.
Public safety
We will maintain and mark all external escape routes and exits.
Display details of actions to be taken in the event of fire and record any incident in a fire log-book.
Will maintain adequate first aid equipment. Will maintain and display Public Liability Insurance. Will maintain regular inspections of boiler, portable fire equipment and electrical appliances.
The prevention of public nuisance
Will ensure that the hire agreement restricts the playing of live and recorded music in the garden areas to 23.00 hours.
Will display clear notices at exits requesting patrons leave the premises quietly.
Will make provision for the disposal of refuse.
The protection of children from harm
Will ensure that any film exhibitions are classified BBFC.
will make sure that children only view age appropriate films.
